EXAM-DAY PLAYBOOK

Save time without losing easy marks

Use these as decision rules during practice; adapt them to the official 2027 instructions.

1 · First pass

Collect quick, high-confidence marks first. Flag long derivations and return later.

2 · Set a stop-loss

If no clear path appears after about 60–90 seconds, mark it and move on. Revisit with fresh eyes.

3 · Read the ask

Underline what is requested: total vs usable addresses, time vs throughput, or count vs probability.

4 · Estimate first

Check units and order of magnitude before detailed arithmetic; use options to eliminate impossible answers.

5 · Protect against traps

Write assumptions, boundary cases and sign conventions. One small counterexample can reject a wrong claim.

6 · Final review

Recheck marked questions and numerical units. Follow the current official marking and navigation rules.

ACTIVE LEARNING

Understand → visualise → solve → recall

Lessons are organised into chapters. Mark a topic complete after you can explain it without notes.
